A cloakroom is the one space where you can be unashamedly playful, so here I let the pattern do the talking. The walls above are dressed in Coordonné's 'Huipil', a painterly stripe in blue with a smidge of orange, and I kept everything else close to it in blue so it stays bold without getting busy. Below, handmade white metro tiles are laid in a brick bond and finished with an ultramarine Victoria border tile that picks up the blues above. A Burlington basin with an integrated towel rail sits under an oval mirror, with a pair of beautiful teardrop opaline sconces adding a soft glow. Chrome brings in a bit of shine and interest, and navy and black tiles underfoot ground the scheme and leave the colour and pattern to take centre stage.
