Period homes have particular needs. The proportions, the original details, the way light moves through rooms built before anyone thought about open-plan living - these things require a different kind of attention. I work almost exclusively on older homes in Haarlem and the wider Amsterdam region, and remotely with clients in the UK, bringing the same eye to both: considered, layered interiors that feel like they've always been there. Full Service Interior Design - Haarlem, Amsterdam and surrounding areas.

‍The full end-to-end design service, from initial concept through to the day your home is finished, after installation. This covers everything: moodboards and concept development, colour and material selection, furniture and lighting specification, bespoke joinery and cabinetry design, procurement, and on-site project and supplier management through to install. I take on a small number of full-service projects each year so that each one gets the time and care it deserves. Colour & Wallpaper Consultancy - Haarlem, Amsterdam and surrounding areas - also available remotely.

‍A focussed service built around two of the most transformative - and most agonised-over - decisions in any interior: colour and wallpaper. We'll work through your options methodically - looking at light, undertones, existing materials, and how spaces connect - and you'll leave with a clear, confident direction rather than a shortlist you're still not sure about. Available in person or remotely (working from photos, samples and measurements you provide).

Online Design Package
Available remotely - Netherlands and UK only

‍A complete room design delivered remotely: colour scheme, furnishing and window treatments schedule, and lighting specification, all tailored to your space. We'll have a consultation to go through your brief, priorities and budget, then I'll produce a detailed, shoppable design package you can implement at your own pace. No site visits, no project management - just good design, clearly presented. Please note: I design complete rooms only, working from accurate measurements and a floor plan you provide. This service works particularly well for UK clients with period homes who want a considered result without the back-and-forth of a full project.

I grew up in London and have a genuine appreciation for the particular character of British period homes - the proportions of a Victorian terrace, the detailing in an Edwardian hallway, the bones of a 1930s house.
