A considered interior begins with understanding how you want your home to feel - and how it needs to work. My process takes your project from the initial brief through design, visualisation and procurement, giving you a clear path from ideas to a fully resolved room. I work on complete room schemes rather than isolated selections, allowing every element to be considered as part of the whole. My role focusses on interior design, furnishing and procurement. If your project includes building or decorating work, your architect, contractor or chosen tradespeople remain responsible for managing the works and programme.
We begin by discussing how you live, what is and isn’t working, the atmosphere you want to create, your existing pieces, priorities and budget. For local projects, this includes an in-home consultation and furnishing measure. Online projects begin with a video consultation, photographs, floor plans and measurements supplied using my guidance. This stage gives us a clear brief and agreed scope before the creative work begins.
I translate the brief into a complete creative direction, bringing together the layout, colours, materials, furniture, lighting, window treatments and finishing details. Scaled furniture plans, concept boards and illustrative 3D views help you understand how the room will look and feel before anything is ordered. We then review the scheme together and refine it until the main creative and practical decisions are resolved. You’ll receive the plans, visuals and specifications included in your agreed scope.
Once the design is approved, I finalise the selected pieces, specifications, pricing and availability and present the complete furnishing and fittings schedule for your approval. I then oversee procurement, order management and supplier communication, keeping the practical details connected to the agreed design. For Netherlands based projects, furnishings can be received, checked and safely stored until your home is ready. For
online UK projects, I can handle procurement and order management but all items will be delivered directly to your nominated address for you to receive and store.
For Interior Design & Furnishing projects, the completed scheme is brought together through coordinated delivery, installation and final styling. Furniture, artwork, accessories and the pieces you already own are carefully placed so that the room feels complete, personal and ready to enjoy.
For Online Interior Design projects, you arrange installation with your chosen local tradespeople. You receive and store the orders, while the design, specifications, procurement and supplier communication have been taken care of. I will guide you remotely through the final styling and placement of furniture, artwork and accessories.
Whether your room is completed in person or online, everything will be positioned in line with our agreed design, with thoughtful adjustments made where needed once the scheme comes together in the space.
This focussed service follows a shorter process. Following an in-person or remote consultation, I consider your home’s light, architecture, existing finishes and the way its rooms connect. I then develop a cohesive scheme with specified paint colours and wallpaper recommendations for the agreed scope (each space including the walls, ceiling, trim, mouldings and other woodwork), giving you the clear information needed to brief your decorator and move forward confidently.
